TEMPLE, Texas (November 2, 2012) McLane Advanced Technologies (MAT), a global provider of Information Technology and logistics solutions, will be hosting a golf tournament on Monday, November 5, 2012 to benefit the United Way of Central Texas. The event will take place at Wildflower County Club, located at 4902 Wildflower Lane, Temple, Texas 76502. Player check-in will begin at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
Companies supporting the tournament range from local businesses to international corporations traveling from across the U.S. Many are expressing their appreciation to the U.S. military by funding teams for Ft. Hood soldiers.

“Funds raised from the golf tournament will go towards supporting agencies right here in East Bell County,” said McLane Advanced Technologies President and CEO Drayton McLane Jr. “We want to invite the community to join us in helping our neighbors through our local United Way.”
The United Way of Central Texas supports 23 local social service agencies. From pre-natal care to senior citizens, United Way partner agencies provide financial, physical, emotional, and psychological care to those in need.
