2 arrests made in connection to Waco Easter shooting
Waco, Texas — Waco police have arrested a pair of cousins in connection to a local club shooting on Easter that sent one person to the hospital.
According to Waco PD Spokesman, W.P. Swanton, the shooting happened at Club Crush, around 2:55 a.m. Sunday, April 20. Officers that were working in the area were called out to the club because they heard "gun battle".
When police arrived on scene, they found one person who had been shot in the leg. ETMC took the victim to Hillcrest Hospital.
While investigating, officers found Ecstasy and marijuana in the victim's car. Swanton says numerous vehicles were shot up, with one car that resulted in a leaking gas tank. Waco Fire Department was called out to clear up the leaking gas. Numerous shell casings were found on the ground.
On Tuesday, April 29, Waco PD and the U.S. Marshal Task Force arrested Alex Charles Forcey, 23, and Clyde Vonzell Forcey, 19. Both men are charged with aggravated assault.
The case is on-going and no additional information is being released at this point.
