2 bandits rob Waco convenience store overnight

The Waco Police Department is seeking more information on a robbery that took place Sunday night at a local convenience store.

The crime happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. at Tommy's Convenience store on the 3600 block of Marlin Highway.

Authorities say two men entered the store and approached the counter armed with guns. After demanding money and cigarettes, the robbers ran from the scene in an unknown direction.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5’8", 150lbs, about 30-years-old and wearing short sleeved blue, black and white striped shirt and brown sunglasses.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 5’10”, 170 lbs. early twenties and wearing a grey t-shirt, and black sunglasses.

Suspects fled the store in an unknown direction. The store clerk was not injured during the robbery. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
