The Silver Anniversary Edition of the Stilwell Pancake Breakfast fundraiser takes place this Saturday, June 16th at Stilwell Retirement Residence. Celebrity servers will dish out “all you can eat” pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee from 8am until 10:30am. The cost is just $6 per person.
Now in its 25th year, the Stilwell Pancake Breakfast is the primary fundraiser for the Stilwell Residence Council. The event annually serves hundreds of visitors and features celebrity servers from political offices, Baylor and personalities from radio, TV and print.
The annual Silent Auction will feature dozens of new items. Bidders will have an opportunity to bid on Baylor memorabilia, a fishing trip and gift cards from local restaurants, movie passes and family ticket packs to the new Hawaiian Falls Water Park. There will also be scores of decorative items, from rugs to framed prints and gift baskets donated by local retailers.
Stilwell Retirement Residence is the only retirement facility for teachers in the state of Texas. Other non-teaching retirees are also welcome. The facility is a non-profit organization and is funded by monthly rentals and a remarkable network of benefactors.
Stilwell Retirement Residence is located at 5400 Laurel Lake, just behind the Target Greatland store.
