In the midst of preparing for the NCAA super regionals, the Aggie women's softball team took time out of their busy schedule to help give back to those in need.

Head softball coach Jo Evans used social media Monday night to help get the word out about the donation drive.

For two hours during practice Tuesday, donations were collected for the victims of West and Moore, Oklahoma.

Cars were lined up to donate everything from clothes to diapers and money.

Wanda Vidrine heard about the donation drive on TV and came out Tuesday morning to donate, "The devastation is just phenomenal and I would certainly hope that people would help me if that happened and I know they would."

The team plans to take all the collected items and drop them off in West and Moore on their way to Norman, Oklahoma for the super regional NCAA playoffs.

Norman is just about 15 miles south of Moore. The tournament starts Thursday.
