Hewitt, TX — The autopsy results have come back for the skeletal remains of two people found earlier this year in Hewitt, and they confirm what police believed all along.
The bodies of John Doe #1 and John Doe #2 were found in September.
Hewitt Police sent them for autopsy and even had facial recognition done for John Doe #1, who they originally thought was shot to death.
The autopsy results confirmed the notion that John Doe #1 died from a gunshot wound to the head.
The department is still investigating what happened to the two but has admitted tips and leads have gone nowhere.
