WACO -- It's not everyday you get to hula hoop with a professional, jump around with elite gymnasts or spin high in the air in nothing but a Lyra. But this weekend is your lucky chance.

"Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey has found fun and exciting ways to exercise with kids not even knowing they're exercising, because who likes to exercise? Not me," Dean Kelly, a clown with the Greatest Show on Earth said.

But for performer and instructor Jodie Urias she loves getting to bring her two passions together.

"We get to perform for audiences all over the United States, and outside of the performances we get to teach families about being circus fit and I love that," Urias said.

One hour before the show kids can come and learn fun activities from the performers and not even realize they're exercising, as well as many other pre-show festivities.

"You can get autographs and pictures and you can even see some performances that you're not going to see in the actual show. One cool thing that we're doing with the pre-show that we've never done before is, we are opening up the backstage curtains so you can take your very own tour of backstage and get to look at our beautiful animals before we get the show started," Kelly said.

Between the strongest man, the aerial dancers and an assortment of talented animals, Barnum Bash has something for everyone.
