Bell Co. identifies body found in Moffat

Moffat, TX — The Bell County Sheriff's department has identified the man found severely decomposed in a mobile home Sunday afternoon in Moffat.
The body of James Robert Moore, 36, was discovered after a a welfare call was responded to by officers and volunteers of the Moffat Fire Department.
They arrived to find Moore's body decomposed in an abandoned mobile home near 9310 F.M 2409 in the White Hall Community.
Judge Don Engleking pronounced death at 5:15 pm and ordered the body taken to The Southwest Institute of Forensic in Science Dallas for an autopsy.
Moore’s family reported that they last saw him approximately three weeks ago.
Preliminary autopsy show no signs of trauma.
Judge Engleking is withholding a ruling in the death until the final autopsy report is received from The Southwest Institute of Forensic Science in Dallas.
