BIG 12 NEWS: Defending BIG 12 champions take on ND State in season opener

The defending BIG 12 champion Kansas State Wildcats will take on the North Dakota State Bisons, Friday night, in their season opener.

The succesful former junior-college quarterback, Jake Waters, will take the reigns for the Wildcats as starting QB. Waters will be replacing Heisman runner-up Collin Klein.

In ju-co ball, Waters a 6'1", 210 pound junior, put up ridiculous numbers as he threw for 3,500 yards, 39 touchdowns with only three interceptrions at Iowa Western Community College

K-State will look to senior running back, John Hubert, and wide receivers Tyler Lockett and Tramaine Thompson for their main offensive threat.
