BIG 12 NEWS: TCU to open season against LSU

Wednesday, August 28, 2013 - 4:13pm

In a clash of two top 25 teams, the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs will take on the Louisiana State University Tigers in their season opener, Saturday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The No. 20 Horned Frogs will battle the No. 12 Tigers, who are currently a four-point favorite to win.

LSU's only losses last season came to Florida, Alabama and Clemson. TCU had a hard fight and a lot to prove last year with it being their first season in the BIG 12.

TCU quarterback, Casey Pachall, will be back this year after sitting out the last season due to a DWI charge, which ultimately resulted in Pachall entering rehab. Running back, Waymon James, who was injured in week two against Kansas, will also be back on the Horned Frogs roster.

Kick-off is set for Saturday night at 8:00 p.m.
