Authorities discovered the body of a missing 58-year-old Harker Heights man who was reported missing on Monday.

James Harris was pronounced dead shortly after his body was found around 3 p.m. on Tuesday by Bell County Sheriff’s Deputies, game wardens and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Stillhouse Hollow Lake.

Harris reportedly liked to fish. However, on Monday night he never returned from his fishing trip. Authorities say Harris was familiar with the area but did suffer from health issues. A large search on Monday included a helicopter.

The body of Harris has been sent off for autopsy.
