WACO -- Two local departments had to be evacuated today after a bomb threat.

This morning in Waco a railroad worker found a suspicious device close to a high pressure natural gas line near Crest Drive and Interstate 35

The Department of Public Safety and Texas Parks and Wildlife had to be evacuated. But after nearly three hours, DPS and TPWD fortunately got the all clear.

Officials tell us the man who spotted the device is trained to identify potential explosives.
