Brazos county looking for new justice software after company bails

BRAZOS COUNTY, Tx (KWKT) — Brazos County officials are now facing a software problem after a company they paid $2.6 million to develop new software has terminated the contract.
The Virginia-based company AMCAD has pulled out of the deal after 2 years. Officials signed a $3.7 million contract with AMCAD in December 2011.
The county is currently operating on a software agreement with Tyler Technologies that ends in 18 months which is
setting a firm deadline for a solution to found.
