Bryan, Tx (KWKT) — The Bryan municipal building has been through a lot of changes over the years going from a fire station to its current residents the Brazos Valley Children’s Museum, but the building is in for some new changes.
The Brazos Valley Children’s Museum is saying good-bye to its current home and will close the doors for the last time this Saturday.
The Children’s Museum has been in its current location for over a decade and has been in the city Bryan for almost 20 years .
Zach Etheridge BVCM Board Secretary says “We were looking to move to a more centrally located address here in Bryan College Station to better serve the community, so we think we have achieved that by moving over to the East 29th location.”
The new location will have the same amount of space as the municipal building, but it will all be on one floor giving the museum more open space for exhibits.
The only problem is the new location is still under construction and will not open until sometime this fall.
