Bryan PD investigating series of robberies

Bryan Police need your help identifying the man they say is responsible for a rash of burglaries last weekend.

Police say, on February 23, between 4:25 a.m. and 4:45 a.m., the following three buildings were broken into:

Discount Cleaners, located in the 3300 block of East 29th Street, was broken into around 4:25 a.m. Sammy’s, located in the 3500 block of East 29th Street, was broken into around 4:30 a.m. Also, Briarcrest Cleaners, located at 1887 Briarcrest Drive, was broken into around 4:45 a.m.

According to the burglar’s modus operandi and the video of the suspect, it is believed that all three burglaries were perpetrated by the same suspect. The suspect is described as a light skinned black male of average height and thin build, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and carrying a purple backpack. This is considered an open investigation and details into the burglary will not be released at this time.
