Bryan officers on patrol near South College because of a recent burglary problem in the area made a big arrest Monday.

Police say they arrested 21-year-old Ronnie Lott Monday afternoon after a resident said he was acting suspicious. The witness told police he saw Lott leave his neighbor's home.

When police talked with Lott about why he was seen at the house, he had to be told numerous times to keep his hands out of his pockets.

After talking with dispatch, officers conducted a search and that's when they say they found a .38 caliber semiautomatic handgun in his pocket and a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun in his waistband.

Lott was also in possession of a credit card that didn't belong to him.

He was arrested and charged with unlawful carrying of a firearm.
