California fugitive arrested by U.S. Marshals in Bell County

A wanted California man was arrested  Monday night in Killeen for an attempted murder.

According to U.S. Marshals, Shane Michael Davis, 35, was involved in an altercation, in Riverside County, where he allegedly shot the victim twice, once in the chest and once in the arm.

Investigators with the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force obtained information that Davis was staying in the Killeen area. The LSFTF arrested the 35-year-old man at a residence located at 3209 Hereford. During the arrest officers found, a .40-caliber Glock model 23 on the fugitive.

Davis was transported to Bell County Jail, where he will await extradition to California.He may also be face additional charges in Texas.
