Georgetown, TX — The second capital murder defendant tried for the 2011 Lakewood Villas apartment complex shooting case in Waco has been found guilty.
A jury delivered the guilty verdict against Albert Love in a Georgetown courtroom Tuesday morning. The trial began earlier this month. Testimony in the punishment phase of the trial is set to begin on Wednesday morning.
Love is accused of being involved in a deadly shooting that left Keenan Hubert, 20, and Tyus Sneed, 17, dead and two others injured. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in this case.
Co-defendant Rickey Cummings was sentenced to death following his trial in November 2012.
