The public was invited to two Waco Downtown Transportation Study Open House meetings held yesterday at the City’s Multi-Purpose Facility at Paul Quinn Campus.

The City of Waco is conducting a Downtown Transportation Study to evaluate existing
transportation service, and to enhance connectivity to/from major activity centers in the Greater
Downtown Waco area.

Multiple partners within Waco and the surrounding communities recognize downtown will
continue to be a primary activity center in the region, and support this planning effort to increase
livability, connectivity, and growth.

The consultant team, CDM Smith and RJRivera, will conduct a thorough analysis of existing
transportation operations and conditions, identify potential growth opportunities, and provide
recommendations that improve mobility within Greater Downtown Waco.

For further information, please call Waco Transit at 750-1900.
