College Station, Texas (KWKT) — College Station will be testing the sewer system for the next 3 weeks.
The city started pumping smoke into sections of the sewer system north of University Drive and west of Texas Avenue today.
The smoke is non-toxic and odorless, but it could find its way inside homes or buildings if problems exist in the lines.
The tests help crews quickly identify problems in the sewer’s.
