Coryell County, TX — Even though this winter has already produced some decent rain storms, Coryell County has issued a burn ban.
For the next three months, residents in all parts of Coryell County are prohibited from starting fires outdoors.
The commissioner’s court stated last week that doing so would create a safety hazard to the public.
If caught, the crime would be a misdemeanor which would include a fine of up to $500.
