COLLEGE STATION -- College Station police officers are continuing to search for 35-year-old Manuel Mendez Mariaca, who has been missing since Sunday.

Officers began an extensive search in the Bee Creek Park area Wednesday morning. There they found some of Mariaca's personal belongings.

Police searched the wooded areas with help from the Bryan-College K-9 network. Officers also searched the swampy area with a dive team and drag boat.

Through the ongoing investigation and interviews with family and friends, police have a better description of the missing person.

Mariaca is described as a Hispanic male. He is approximately five-foot-six and 150 pounds. Mariaca has shoulder-length brown hair that family members say is normally in a pony tail.

Mariaca has brown eyes and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and jeans.

Mariaca also has a tattoo of an "Indian head" on one of his arms.

If you have any information regarding Mariaca, contact College Station police immediately.
