Downtown Bryan Association holding firefighter memorial at First Friday

The Downtown Bryan Association is hosting a memorial for the Bryan firefighters killed and injured in the February 15, 2013 fire.

The memorial will be held during “First Friday”on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 6:30 PM in the 500 Block of North Main Street, Bryan, Texas. The public is invited to attend. Representatives from the City of Bryan, Bryan Fire Department and the City of College Station will be in attendance. Please join us this Friday.

The DBA has organized a profit share to support our local families. More than a dozen Downtown Bryan businesses have agreed to donate a portion of their proceeds from sales this weekend (March 1 - 3) to the BV Media Giving Back Fund.

This fund is for the families of two Bryan firefighters killed in the line of duty, as well as their fellow public servants who were critically injured during a rescue attempt.
