Early morning crash caused power outages for Oncor customers

A Wednesday morning accident caused some Oncor customers to loose power.

According to police the accident happened around 3:15 a.m. when a driver fell asleep at the wheel causing him to crash into a power line.

The accident happened near the intersection of Wooded Acres and Bishop.

Oncor says, 1,300 customers were initially effected by the accident but they were able to get 95 percent of the customers back online within an hour.

Police say the driver walked away from the accident with no injuries and no charges will be filled.
