Earthquake strikes ETX again
Shelby County (KETK) — The US Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake in Shelby County.
It happened shortly before 2 p.m. Friday, about two miles southwest of Timpson, TX.
According to the USGS, it was a magnitude 2.8.
Timpson Police, as well as other witnesses, tell KETK they felt the ground shake.
At this time, there are no reports of any injuries or damage.
One person was injured in a magnitude 4.3 earthquake that struck the region back on May 17, 2012.
