First Victoria Bank in Bryan robbed at gunpoint
BRYAN, Tx (KYLE) — A 61-year-old is behind bars for a Bryan bank robbery after a man hunt earlier this afternoon.
Police say James Kyle Graham walked into the First Victoria Bank off East 29th Street in Bryan shortly before noon Friday.
While inside the police say he displayed a firearm and threatened bank employees with a bomb. Graham got away in his black truck with an unknown amount of cash.
Several hours later, police stopped a vehicle matching the truck's description near FM 59 and Copperfield.
Once detained for questioning, police say they found a suspicious package inside Graham's truck.
Graham has been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
The College Station bomb squad was called in to help assist with the suspicious package but police say it turned out to be fake.
