Waco, Texas — It's the middle of flu season and the virus is on the move as the number of those infected continues to rise.
In Central Texas, the numbers aren't as alarming, with the statistics so far being pretty similar to last year. In the state, however, the number of flu cases is steadily rising, with the H1N1 cases up five percent this week as compared to last week, according to the Texas Department of Health and Human Services.
Doctors are still encouraging you to wash your hands constantly and get a flu shot if you haven't already.
