Fourth man arrested in connection to July ATM theft in Waco

Waco, Tx — A fourth man has been arrested in connection with a July 2013 theft of an ATM machine from a Waco hotel.
Izale Dejon Williams, 27, is charged with engaging in organized criminal activity. Williams was arrested in Dallas on August 5.
The other three suspects, James Andre Smith, 24 , Charles Ray Harris Jr., 33, and Joshua Datron Thompson, 24, were arrested on the same charges in Ellis County and were later transported back to Waco.
Waco officers responded to the Hilton Hotel located at 113 South University Parks Drive on a theft call on July 29, around 11:45 p.m.
It was discovered that at least three black men entered the lobby area of the Hilton and stole an ATM, placing it into a stolen van and fled the scene.
Witnesses describe three black men dressed in dark hoodies and dark pants, entering the lobby with the assistance of a fourth suspect that had been inside and opened a locked door.
The three suspects went directly to an ATM and removed it from the lobby with a dolly to the waiting stolen van. The fourth male suspect left the hotel in a separate vehicle and we are in the process of trying to identify that suspect. The van with the stolen ATM and three suspects fled the hotel towards IH-35.
As officers were working the call dispatchers relayed the information to other local law enforcement agencies in the area. A West police officer spotted the stolen van and attempted a traffic stop. The suspect vehicle fled from the West officer towards Dallas, Tx. on IH-35.
After a lengthy pursuit by the West Police Department. and with the assistance of McLennan Co. deputies, DPS and Waxahachie Police Department the suspect vehicle was forced to stop in Waxahachie. The three suspects then ran from the vehicle and after a search of the area, all three suspects were captured.
