Free concert in downtown Waco this Friday

Waco, Texas (April 9, 2014) – The City of Waco’s Brazos Nights concert series kicks off this Friday night with Louisiana legend Buckwheat Zydeco followed by one of Rolling Stone Magazine’s top 100 guitarists, Robert Randolph and the Family Band.

The free concert begins at 7 p.m. and will take place at Indian Spring Park.

Along with live music, Brazos Nights includes food and drink concessions, carriage rides, kayak rentals, a children’s art area and scenic views of the river from the Suspension Bridge. The City of Waco began the concert series began in 1989 and it is supported by community businesses. Indian Spring Park is located at 100 University Parks Dr. in downtown Waco.
