Free diabetes cooking class series comes back to Waco

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in McLennan County and the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District have partnered to provide a Cooking Well With Diabetes class series.

The classes will be held on April 1, 8, and 15 from 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the South Waco Community Center located at 2815 Speight in Waco. Every class includes lessons and take-home recipes. The class series is for diabetics, their family members, and their care givers. Those interested in diabetes prevention are also welcome to attend. The cost is free, but participants must pre-register by March 28.
