In an effort to assist Waco area residents in bringing pets into compliance with the spay/neuter/microchip ordinance, the City of Waco is offering a free microchip clinic for pets tomorrow, May 3, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Waco Police Department Headquarters, located at 3115 Pine Avenue.

Participants must be Waco residents, and will need to bring proof of residency with them to the clinic (water bill, etc.).

Microchipping pets is the law in Waco, and the clinic is designed to help residents bring their pets into compliance.

Volunteers are needed to work the event as well so if you are interested, please be there before
9 a.m.
