Fort Hood, TX — Accused Fort Hood shooter Major. Nidal Hasan is in a Fort Hood courtroom Tuesday.
The pre-trial hearing will discuss whether to allow testimony from a terrorism consultant to enter the trial, but Hasan’s attorneys argue he hasn’t been charged with terrorism and that the testimony shouldn’t be allowed.
The hearing is just one of many leading up to the much-anticipated trial.
Hasan is facing 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder resulting from the Fort Hood shootings on November 5, 2009.
Jury selection and the beginning of the trial is set for May 29.
