Shopping was down this holiday season, despite Thanksgiving night doorbusters, Black Friday, and 24-hour sales leading up to Christmas.

According to Shopper Trak, a company that tracks in-store shopping, "Super Saturday" sales on December 21 were down .7%, as compared to the same day last year.  Shopper Trak also reports in-store traffic decreased by 18.1%.

Some feel the winter storms across the country and the shortened time frame between the thanksgiving and christmas holidays this year contributed to less store traffic this year.
