Brazos County investigators say they have the man they think is responsible for a 2006 murder now behind bars.

Authorities arrested 44-year-old Eric Hicks, of Houston, for his alleged involvement of the shooting death of Demetrius Browder.

Browder went missing in October of 2006 and was found the following January in a ditch off FM 159 with a gunshot wound to his head.

Investigators aren't releasing a motive but Hicks is in the Brazos County Jail on a $200,000 bond, charged with murder.
