Bell County health officials have confirmed the second Central Texas flu death, this time an infant just 10 days old.

Typically babies aren't given the flu shot until they are six months old. So, their best protection is to stay away from those who are sick or not vaccinated.

Earlier this month, officials reported a Coryell County man died while battling the virus. Authorities still urge you to get a flu shot ifyou haven't already.
