Bell County, tx — A Killeen man who was found guilty of murder on Wednesday has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
John Stanton Beasley Jr., 23, will be eligible for parole after he's served at least half of his sentence.
Beasley went on trial this week for the April 2012 killings of two passengers in his vehicle, following a police chase.
Beasley and three others reportedly fled police in Killeen after an incident occurred at a pawn shop on Fort Hood Street. Police say Beasley was driving erratic through downtown Killeen when his Chevy Tahoe slammed into a utility pole. Two of his passengers died from their injuries.
