Killeen, Texas (KWKT) — Killeen Police are investigaing a pursuit and crash at Long Branch Park.
Officers received a 911 call in reference to an armed subject at Long Branch Park at 7:30 a.m., on Wednesday.
Upon the officer’s arrival, they located the suspects and as they attempted to approach them they ran to a car and fled; at that point a pursuit ensued.
The suspects fled throughout the park continuing through the grass and collided with the building that holds the chemicals for the public pool. The suspects ran from the vehicle on foot and were subsequently taken into custody.
The Killeen Fire Department and HAZMAT Team were deployed due to the chlorine chemical spill.
The suspects, two males and two females ranging from ages 13-16 years old, were released to a parent or guardian to seek precautionary medical attention.
This case is currently being investigated and information will be released as it becomes available. The names of the juveniles will not be released.
