Killeen PD looking for intoxication manslaughter suspect

Killeen police are looking for a 28-year-old man who they say is responsible for a deadly rollover wreck that happened in June that left the passenger in the vehicle dead.

A warrant for Orvin Scott Lee III is charging him with intoxication manslaughter.

According to the report, the accident took place on June 4, around 2 a.m., on westbound U.S. Highway 190. The driver of the vehicle, who has been determined was Lee, was traveling at a high rate of speed, when he lost control and overturned. Jeremy Chapman, 27, of Killeen, was pronounced dead on the scene.

After the crash, authorities recovered about a half a pound of marijuana from inside of the vehicle.

Lee is now wanted for the intoxication manslaughter charge, as well as a parole violation. He is described as a black male, about 5-foot-11-inches tall, and around 150 pounds. Anyone with information about Lee is encouraged to contact police or Bell County Crimestoppers.
