Killeen PD searching for 2 jewelry thieves

Killeen Police are asking for the community’s help in identifying and locating two theft suspects.

Officers responded to 2100 W.S. Young Dr. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, just after 4:00 pm in reference to a report of a theft at K’s Jewelers. The store employee told officers that around 7:30 pm on Monday, May 5, 2014, the two suspects entered the store. One suspect was able to distract the employee while the other suspect reached over an unlocked display case and took two trays of bridal rings. The two males then exited the store. A total of twelve rings were stolen, with a combined value of about $20,000.

Detectives have attached photos of these two suspects. They are both black males, one wearing a white ball cap with a white t-shirt and the other wearing a dark colored ball cap and dark colored t-shirt.
