Killeen Police search for suspect in shooting, known as "Butter"

The Killeen Police Department is asking for your help by identifying a man who is a suspect in a shooting.

Officers responded to the 600 block of W. Elms Rd. just after midnight on Friday, September 7, 2012, after being notified by security that shots were fired in the parking lot of the Wall Street Club located at 610 W. Elms Rd. 

The officers arrived in the parking lot just moments after the shots were fired.

They found the victim, a 27 year old male, who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. 

The victim and witnesses told officers a black male known only as “Butter” shot several rounds outside of a white vehicle and fled the area.

The officers did not see a white vehicle leave the parking lot and were unable to locate it.

The victim was airlifted to Scott & White Memorial Hospital in serious condition.

During the investigation it was determined that the male in the photo wearing a white striped shirt and glasses is known only as “Butter”.
