KPD looking for Pointe Liquor Store robbers

Killeen Police are investigating a shoplifting that turned into a Robbery when a man was injured as the suspect was making his getaway with a bottle of liquor.

Officers responded to the Pointe Liquor Store located at 904 S. Fort Hood St. on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at approximately 6:30pm, in reference to a Robbery that had just occurred. During the initial investigation it was determined that two black males entered the Pointe Liquor Store and one male put a bottle of liquor in his pants attempting to conceal the bottle from the management. When he was confronted about the bottle he took it out of his pants and began running for the door; during this time a customer attempted to stop the male from fleeing when he was thrown into merchandise just inside the door injuring him. The suspect continued to flee on foot and the other black male fled shortly afterwards with the other suspect.
