Local man sentenced for death of Lorena football player
WACO -- A Waco teenager is headed to prison after being sentenced for the shooting death of a Lorena High School football player.
18-year-old Leonard Trey Nino was sentenced to 28 years after pleading guilty to the murder of 17-year-old Nathan Andrew Romo.
On March 7, 2011, Romo was shot at S.J. Guthrie Park on Edmond Avenue in Waco.
