The Waco-McLennan County Public Health District is reporting the first flu-related death in the 2013-2014 flu season. The death occurred last week and involved a female in her sixties who succumbed to influenza type A.

IHOP loiterer tased after fighting with Waco PD

A transient was tased and is now in the McLennan County Jail after he would not leave a restaurant in Waco. Waco police were called to the IHOP at 4th Street and I35 near the campus of Baylor to remove a man from the restaurant.
