Bill Flores ousted 10-term incumbent Chet Edwards last night, in their race towards Congress. Mr. Edwards has been in tough races in the past, but this is the one that will end his years in Congress.

Robbery at local bingo hall

There have been several recent robberies in the Waco and Central Texas area. Several of the robberies have taken place in local residences, and others at business' in the area.

Officials looking for missing man

Police need your help locating a missing person. Joshua Campbell was last seen on early Monday wearing a black jacket, black wind pants, dark tee shirt, and carrying blue and black backpack.

Shots fired during bingo hall robbery

On Tuesday at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to shots being fired in the El Rancho bingo building at Speight and Robinson Road.

Waco home sales down compared to last years third quarter

According to Texas Association of Realtors, the current number of homes sold in the third quarter, is nearly 30 percent lower compared to last years third quarter.

"Bottle bombs" found in Bryan, police warn public to be cautious

BRYAN -- Police in Bryan, Texas are warning people to stay away from plastic bottles that could contain harmful chemicals. Police received calls about possible gunfire Friday. That's when they found small bottles that had been ignited.

House fire leaves 13 people homeless

WACO -- A fire Friday afternoon on N. 18th St.  left 13 people without a home. The fire burnt one room and damaged the rest of the house with smoke, leaving five adults and eight children homeless.
