A Coryell County jury found a Gatesville man guilty of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon Wednesday yesterday in connection to a February 2013 shooting that involved a sheriff's deputy.

David Ray Sneed was arrested after authorities say he shot at a deputy who was trying to make an arrest in response to a family violence call from the day before. When deputies tried to confront sneed, officials say he became "angry" and "hostile". After multiple law enforcement agencies surrounded Sneed's house, they managed to arrest him.

No one was injured in the shooting.
