One man is dead and at least two others injured in an early morning wreck in Killeen on Saturday.

Troy Richard Eric Taylor, 27, of Killeen, was pronounced dead at the scene after Killeen Fire Department used the jaws of life to pull him out of his vehicle.

Shortly after 4 a.m., police responded to an accident near the intersection of W.S. Young Dr. and Veteran’s Memorial Blvd. When the officers arrived, they found a Hyundai Elantra turned over on the driver's side with the driver, Taylor, pinned inside and unresponsive.

A Nissan Altima with three people inside was said to be traveling eastbound in the outside lane of Veteran's Memorial Blvd when it collided with Taylor's vehicle which caused it to leave the road, hit a curb and come to rest on the driver's side.

The front passenger of the Nissan was transported to a local hospital where they are in serious condition. The driver is said to be in stable condition.
