Man pulls gun, points it at others in parking garage

On February 2, 2014 at approximately 0240 hrs, officers with the College Station Police Department were dispatched to the parking garage located in the 300 blk of College Main in regards to a report of a man with a gun at that location.

Upon arrival, they met with an off-duty constable who was able to relay the following information.

The suspect in this offense was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro and was in the process of attempting to exit the parking garage.

The suspect stopped in the flow of traffic exiting the structure to look for an item in his vehicle.

Vehicles behind the suspect’s vehicle began to honk their horns and the suspect exited his vehicle and verbally confronted other drivers and re-entered his vehicle.

The vehicles behind the suspect began to sound their horns again at which time the suspect exited his vehicle and brandished a handgun by racking the slide and pointing it at the motorists behind him.

The driver was detained by the off-duty constable and subsequently arrested by College Station Police officers. Arrested was:

Joshua David Stone
23 years old
Rockwall, TX

Stone was charged with Disorderly Conduct (Displaying a Firearm) as well as Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.
