Temple, TX — Thursday, McLane Children's Hospital held a ribbon cutting ceremony in honor of it's new $32 million dollar pediatric clinic.
This new clinic is now home to more than 80 physicians who specialize in numerous areas, including cardiology, cycstic fibrosis, cerebral palsy, and more. This building is made possible through a philanthropic donation. Hospital directors say a facility like this is state of the art and needed in the community.
"Before, a lot of these children had to go to different locations in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston. Now, we provide the best care, right here at the McLane Children's Campus for the community of Central Texas," said Dr. Reddy Beeram.
Dr. Beeram says the hospital would eventually like to bring newborn care and open heart surgeries to the campus.
