McLennan County Elementary School students are learning what it takes to live a drug-free lifestyle. Tuesday through Thursday of this week, Waco Police officers are partnering with other area law enforcement agencies, teaching kids the importance of staying in school and off the streets.

It’s all a part of “Red Ribbon Week”.

During this week, officers are remembering DEA Agent Enrique Camarena, who was kidnapped and brutally murdered by members of the drug cartel.
