WACO -- Several Waco attractions did their part to give back today and say thank you to our incredible military service members.

All active duty military and veterans were granted free admission to the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum and the Cameron Park Zoo.

Jim Fleshman, zoo director, said it's the least they can do to give back to the people who sacrifice their time, their families and so much more to protect our country.

"A zoo is kind of an American icon as itself and so to be able to have something that's a part of American history and tied into the military and being able to say thank you to those families and help them out just a little bit, I think is something special that just our small part something we can do," said Fleshman.

Another big Waco attraction, the new Hawaiian Falls Water park also provided free admission for active military today.
